Honeywell
digital thermostat has clear display and easy operation.
BRACKNELL, UK,
3 April 2002 - Honeywell has
launched the stylish DT200 Digital Thermostat, with simple two
button operation and a large clear display with easily read
digits. The DT200 is ideally suited to controlling combi boilers
(of any voltage) and individual heating zones in larger systems.
The
DT200 is extremely simple to use. In normal operation, the display
shows the room temperature. A flame symbol is shown when there is
a call for heat. Users can check the set temperature at any time
by pressing the temperature "up" or "down"
button briefly. To enter the set-up mode, either button is pressed
for two seconds; the DT200 then shows the set point, which can be
adjusted within the range 5 to 35 degrees C in 0.5 degree steps
using the same buttons.
The
DT200 is powered by two standard AA size alkaline batteries. A
"low battery" symbol is displayed when they need
changing.
The
modern "wave" styling is similar to Honeywell's CM60
programmable room thermostats and Smartfit controls. The DT200 has
a compact size, just: 88 x 83 x 32mm (H x W x D).
The
DT200 is easy to install and can either be surface mounted or on a
single flush wall box. The front of the thermostat hinges and
clips onto a sub-base containing the terminal block. The
electrical connections are protected after installation so the
user cannot come into contact with them when the front
is removed for battery replacement.
The
relay contacts are potential-free SPDT (single pole, double throw)
for 24 to 230VAC, 50-60 Hz, 8A resistive, 3A inductive @ pf=0.6.
