to obtain the current version of software in the UDC 3200.

Step Operation Press Result 1 Select STATUS Set Up Group SET UP Upper Display = READ Lower Display = STATUS 2 Read the software version FUNCTION You will see Upper Display = 32xx (xx is the Software Version) Lower Display = VERSION

Step 2 of 4

   Download "Code Download" program.

   Note: Below are minimum requirements for operational environment of
            Process Instrument Code Download:

Operating System:	Windows 2000 sp2 Windows XP sp Windows NT sp6 Pocket PC 2002 or later
CPU:	Intel x86 processor, Pocket PC with Intel PXA250/PXA255 CPU.
Memory:	64MB PC / 32 Meg PPC (Required memory size will vary depending on usage)
Display:	800 x 600, 64K (16 bit), High color or up

Download any necessary Zip files to your hard drive and expand them using WinZip® or equivalent software. Included in all zip files is a PDF file with instructions on how to proceed.

Step 3 of 4

   Download the appropriate binary file to the local hard drive on the PC.

• Upgrade device from PC using "PC_XXXX.s19" file
• Upgrade device from Pocket PC using "PPC_XXXX.s19" file

   To install firmware in the UDC 3200, follow the directions outlined in the PIE
   Download Instructions manual included in the Download file in Step 2.
