will extend the service life of expensive batteries and allow equipment

odds are that Hobbs can meet your switch demands. Our line is quite
extensive, but if it is not exactly what your requirements call
for, we can modify an existing part or start from scratch. Hobbs
has made such custom-built switches for pool and spa applications,
powershift transmissions, anti-skid braking systems, excavator hydraulic
systems, water pump systems, and dental air compressors, just to
name a few.
Standard
switches from 0.5 to 150 psi range are available with varieties
of terminations and connectors. Custom switches can be designed
for set points up to 3000 psi.

Hobbs
produced the first halogen sealed beams for agricultural use in
the early 1980's and has manufactured more than 25 million incandescent
and halogen lamps for use in some of the most rugged working environments
imaginable. Because they are designed for use in heavy construction
and farming equipment, they are also designed to take shock, vibration,
and other extreme service conditions in stride. A wide variety of
types and sizes, with a complete selection of beam patterns and
mounting configurations are available to suit almost any off-road
application.
The
Hobbs product line includes halogen sealed beams, composites, custom
designer lights, specialty lighting and indicator modules for vehicular
and non-vehicular applications.

The
Hobbs key switch is a custom-engineered, environmentally-sealed,
sliding contact switch. This key switch can be designed to either
match your existing keys or use a six tumbler mechanism with up
to 300 unique key combinations. Two position and three position
key switches are available offering off/on, off/on/start and on/off/on
configurations.

Hobbs
has put into place the technology required to design customer-specified
parts in virtually weeks instead of months. Software packages that
allow us to conceptually and rapidly prototype custom products include
Pro/Engineer and Solidworks. Using this software in conjunction
with Fused Deposition Modeling, we can create non-functioning prototypes
in a matter of hours. This benefits the customer by providing a
prototype part for evaluation serving as an important visual communication
tool. Also a mold flow analysis can be completed on these models
to discover and eliminate problems in the molding process before
the mold is designed.
