Tim EricksonTim Erickson is an engineering manager in New Product Development at
Honeywell Micro Switch in Freeport, Illinois, where he currently leads
the development of sensing and control products for the appliance
market. His department focuses on strategic projects in New
Product Development. Tim received his Bachelor of Science in
Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and holds
an Associate of Applied Sciences degree from Highland Community College in Freeport.
He received the H.W. Sweatt Award for his leadership in the
Wash Process Sensor development effort. Tim may be reached at:
Mark WilsonMark Wilson is a staff scientist with the Honeywell Technology Center in Minneapolis.
He is currently developing custom guest/host polymer coatings to be applied to optical
fibers to develop chemical sensors. He is also a principal investigator on a hybrid
optical sensor network based on silicon microstructure devices driven and
sensed optically. He received his Master of Science degree in Physics from Montana
State University in 1978 and his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from
the University of Idaho in 1976. Mark has been awarded six U.S. patents and has
published 17 technical papers. He may be reached at:
Mike RhodesMike Rhodes is a senior principal research scientist at the Honeywell Technology
Center in Minneapolis, specializing in the application of chemical, electrochemical,
and spectral phenomena to smart sensors and sensor subsystems. His principal
developments include the color recognition sensor, infrared thermal
profiler, infrared proximity sensor, and infrared comfort sensor. Mike has a PhD
in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh
and has worked for Honeywell for 11 years. He may be reached at:
Don ForemanDon Foreman manages joint projects at the Honeywell Technology Center in
support of Micro Switchís white goods strategic thrust. His work prior to this
included managing joint and special projects with various Honeywell
divisions. Don has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
from Michigan Technological University and has completed the course work
for his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University
of Minnesota. Don is a past recipient of the Honeywell H.W. Sweatt Award for the
development of traffc control components and holds eight patents. He may be reached at:
