Selects Honeywell Technology For Control System Migration Project.
BRACKNELL, UK,

The Industry Solutions Business of
Honeywell has announced that ExxonMobil Chemical* has selected it to
provide process control systems for a multi-year migration program
at multiple facilities in North America and Europe.
Honeywell’s PMX control system, which was installed in the
70’s and 80’s at ExxonMobil Chemical facilities, is planned to
be replaced with Honeywell’s next generation control technology
currently under development.
“On-going
business and technical relationships were two key factors that
drove our decision to use Honeywell for this project,” said
Ralph Herbert, ExxonMobil Chemical Company Vice President of
Engineering and Manufacturing Services.
“This project will be accomplished within the framework
of our existing ExxonMobil-Honeywell strategic business
arrangement.”
