Honeywell's new Home Controls UK web site includes a wealth of details and tips for heating system installers.

BRACKNELL, UK, 16 AUGUST 2001 – Honeywell has developed a new UK Home Controls web site that includes a wealth of new details and tips to help heating system installers. In particular, the site at www.honeywell.com/uk/homes.htm includes details and dates of Honeywell's installer training courses, as well as a dozen comprehensive Application Guides.

Subjects of these invaluable Guides include "Overcoming poor room thermostat performance", "Thermostatic radiator valves" and "Optimising controls". Honeywell's online Guides covering the industry-standard "S-plan" and "Y-plan" installations include useful wiring diagrams and suggest variations to reduce energy consumption. Honeywell will post additional Guides as they become available. If an installer cannot find the details needed to solve a particular problem on the site, then a "Technical Support" page explains how to reach Honeywell's technical helpdesk, either by phone or e-mail.
