MicroniK
200 controller series is Honeywell's cost-effective solution to
decentralised HVAC control for buildings
BRACKNELL, UK, 12
February 2001 - Honeywell's new MicroniK 200 controller series is
a cost-effective solution to decentralised control in heating,
ventilating and air conditioning applications in offices, public
buildings and retail premises. Digital control technology and a
user-friendly operating concept allow fast configuration and
accurate setting of parameters.
Typical
applications include temperature sequence or cascade control with
heating, mixed air dampers and cooling; and temperature cascade
control with heating, energy recovery system and cooling.
The Honeywell
MicroniK 200 controller is available as either a temperature
controller or universal input controller. There is a choice of
three output types: one floating 2 or 3 stage on/off output; three
floating 2, 3, 4, 6 or 15 stage on/off outputs; or analogue 0 to
10Vdc. Three temperature sensor inputs are provided (main, limit
or cascade and outside temperature compensation) and three digital
inputs (plant system on/off, occupancy and freeze protection).
The unit measures
just 198 x 130 x 37mm (H x W x D) and features a liquid crystal
display, a rotary potentiometer, and four push-buttons for program
setting by means of an intuitive menu loop shown graphically on
the front of the unit for reference.
