Honeywell's
Smartfit controller / programmer is easiest available solution to
meet Goverment's new "Best Practice" specification for
home central heating.
BRACKNELL,
UK, 17 October 2001 –
Honeywell has been pleased to note that the recommended
“Best Practice” for domestic central heating systems with a
regular boiler, as published in the Government’s new Central
Heating System Specifications (CHeSS), specifies a programmable
room thermostat with additional timing capability for hot water.
This can most easily be achieved using Honeywell’s
Smartfit system, which provides independent time and temperature
control for central heating and hot water from a single unit using
simple plug-in and low voltage controls.
Central
Heating System Specifications (CHeSS) is published as General
Information Leaflet 59 under the Government’s Energy Efficiency
Best Practice programme. This
programme provides impartial, authoritative information on energy
efficiency techniques and technologies in industry and buildings.
