TM200VP

The Honeywell TM200V thermostatic mixing valve is approved to the requirements of the NHS Model Engineering.

Specification D08, for thermostatic mixing valves to reduce the risk of emitting water at an unsafe temperature.

The TM200V is WRAS Approved for the following designations,

LP-W Low Pressure Wash hand basins

LP-B Low Pressure Bidets

LP-S Low Pressure Showers

HP-W High Pressure Wash hand basins

HP-B High Pressure Bidets

HP-S High Pressure Showers

HP-T44 High Pressure Baths (Unattended)

The TM200VP is particularly suited for use in areas such as sheltered housing, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, playgroups, motorway service stations and hotels etc. where high water temperatures can lead to scalding.

Honeywell is a founder member of the Thermostatic Mixing Valve Association TMVA, set up to promote awareness of the dangers of high water temperatures. Further information available from www.tmva.org.uk

The Child Accident Prevention Trust have produced a fact sheet after revealing that every year 500 children are admitted to hospital and another 2,000 per year attend their local accident and emergency departments as a result of bath water scalds.

To see a copy of the fact sheet please go to the following website; http://www.capt.org.uk/FAQ/default.htm

RK200E

The RK200E is a flexible hose with 15mm connections to aid the retrofit installation of the TM200V.

ICSxx Inlet Control Group Not Available NA
TPxxx Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve Not Available Read

Inlet Control Group

An Inlet Control Group consists of a Pressure Reducing Valve, Check valve and Expansion relief valve, provided as one assembly.

The Inlet Control Group is fitted on the mains cold water supply to an unvented cylinder to control pressure, protect against backflow conditions and permit excess pressure and temperature to be relieved. Honeywell can provide alternate solutions in 22mm and 28mm sizes, to meet various market requirements.

Temperature and Pressure Relief Valves

Available with either 1/2", 15mm or 3/4" connections, the temperature and pressure relief valve is fitted to the hot water cylinder so as the temperature probe is submersed in the water at the hottest point. The Temperature and Pressure relief valve should be factory fitted by the manufacturer of the unvented cylinder and is a requirement of the Building Regulations G3.

MODUS

Honeywell is a member of MODUS, manufacturers of Domestic Unvented Systems and in common with all Modus members will provide advice on all matters relating to the installation of Unvented hot water cylinders.
