The NX Series is built on many years of experience in designing and manufacturing reliable, robust drives.  The robust design of the CX Series is synonymous with reliability.  The NX Series, builds on the reputation of the CX Series i.e. same high level of immunity to electromagnetic interference.

The NX Series has two different control units, the NXS with a standard open loop sensorless vector control software, sufficient for the majority of applications, and the NXP with a high performance closed loop control software for more demanding applications.  Both control units incorporate the same application packages, control panels, I/O card and can connect to the same PC tools package.

• Continuous runtime self-supervision and alarm system, for enhanced reliability and safety.
• Control logic can be powered from an external auxiliary supply, maintaining power to the control panel, internal drive functions and fieldbuses.

CX/CXL/CXS SERIES FREQUENCY CONVERTERS

CX Series/CXL/CXS frequency converters cover the range in power from 0.55kW to 1.5MW at 230/400/500/690 Volts 3 Phase input voltages. The whole range of the CX Series is CE marked and compliant with EU directives.

A high tolerance to electromagnetic disturbances and low levels of emission has been achieved by using a complete metal chassis, an inbuilt AC line choke, and in many cases, an RFI filter. The AC line choke also significantly decreases the total harmonic currents (THD) generated by the frequency converter.

The highly sophisticated Open Loop Vector Control, fast ASIC circuit and direct 3-phase current measurement ensure accurate motor control, and makes the converter suitable for very demanding applications.  The comprehensive manual, a variety of control panels and PC software tools ensure the CX Series is easy to configure.  The standard series is complemented by cabinet versions, regenerative units (with almost zero power supply distortion) and common DC-bus units plus a wide range of options.
